Especially when one of the boots hides a razor.



 
Used to have a hand made pair of boots my uncle who was a shoemaker back in Hungary made for me, they fit like a second skin.

I remember him taking measurements from the tip of my toes to right below my kneecap he spent a half hour measuring my feet and legs and then spent 2 weeks making boots for me and my Old Man. Those boots woulda been great for a razor.

Sadly after having them for 15 years during a major thunder storm while locked in the basement my German Shepherd decided to have a melt down and eat my boots.

I so wanted to kill my dog but he was a puppy and it was my fault, the dog lived till she was 13, she was a great dog and I miss her I'd even gotten another dog but I'll never be able to replace those boots.

I dunno. I can see how you could stick the knife in one boot and the cigarettes in the other so you don't really need pockets, but what if it's cold? :eek:

I drew inspiration from all you guys, and couldn't help putting in my 2 cents,

1. a knife you made yourself
2. hot sauce you made yourself
3. pictures of you with your motorcycles, 4x4 , trucks, canoes
4. scars and the ability to remember each story (embellished or not).
5. a sense of adventure
6. a love of music,
7. a can do attitude
8. a love of work
9. a playful mind (or of burning things with your zippo)
10. a son to pass it all off to.
 
I would add:

For southerners: a good pair of sandles, and for us northerners: agood pair of snowshoes
