Tops Knives: Show ‘em if you have ‘em

What model is that?

...Was that 107E with the black tiger like stripes (the 1 on your AR), a sprint type run, or do you know where I might possibly be able to find one of those in that configuration?...

Back in the day (*pre-pandemic), TOPS used to offer "custom" options/upgrades for many of their knives if they were ordered from the TOPS site. The three most commonly offered options or upgrades were camo, Rocky Mountain tread, and serrations. Those options haven't been showing on their site for quite some time.

I know that the guys at TOPS do all those things by hand. So, perhaps that is something they would still do if you asked, but I can't say for sure.

*I'm glad to hear that you like the 111A. If I can find an HP version like yours, that'll definitely be my next TOPS purchase.

A Pasayten with modified sheath.
....The spring clip had to go.

There's something about a thin blade with a flat grind.😎

Thanks.
✌️

As much as many of us are around knives and other bladed tools, I'm sure most of us have nicked ourselves a time or two.

Anyhow, I too have a Pasaytan, and that thing almost unceremoniously removed the first knuckle of my strongside index finger one night.

In before “Tops is overpriced 1095, you should buy better knives”. Can 1095 really be overpriced??!? I mean, it’s 1095. Worked for a lot of years. Or maybe I’m just spending waaaaay to much time on the forum. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂👍🏻
