Tortuga 2 exploded

Bruce,

Some day you will be listed somwhere among the REAL "Masters" such as Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and a myriad of others.

Amazing is a word, but its not the word that describes your work.

Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us.

Robert

I'm not sure what "living treasure" really entails. Guess some state or agency or congress, or the guild, or whatever, has to make that declaration. Well, Bruce, you sure as H%# are a living treasure! Museum quality work. Can't wait to see the next, rotating ammo drum, four shot derringer, who knows what comes next? Thanks for the detailed WIP, and all the really great pics.

Living treasure? I like that. Me and Jerry Fisk? Yea right, thats not going to happen unless the ABS accepts gun/knives.

Actually I am just trying to get you guys to spread your wings a little. I'm happy you appreciate the tutorials. They are in no way complete but maybe good enough to get some insight on making a pistol. Actually I have more trouble making the knife half than the pistol. I still plan to make a pistol and separate matching bowie.

Thanks Guys

Wade Colter once told me that if a man can make a folding knife then he should have no problem making a gun. But he's at least as crazy as you are Bruce:D

You always manage to amaze me with these things my friend. Excellent work as always.

Your first statement is so humble Bruce "I'm going to lay this project to rest"......... like this was just another build for you

That Sir, is a masterpiece to the extreme !! Put to rest my A** ............ I say we make this one a sticky ;) :D

Seriously though, Very Beautiful work Bruce    Pics of this will, I'm sure, find their way into more than one magazine and/or book.

I also thought that you might have overcharged the pistol and ruptured the barrel when I saw the headline:eek::D Amazing work and if it wasn't illegal enough in a number of states in the Northeast already, the assisted opening feature sealed the deal.....lol..

I know I really cut out half the countries in the world with this one because its a handgun, over length concealed blade with a spring, over 40 caliber and has genuine ivory on it to boot! Not very political correct is it?

Next time I'm going to velcro a 2" fixed blade on my old Ruger single six and call it a Cut N Shoot. :D

Hey David, Do you recognized that ivory? Yep.

Spread our wings.... but you'd just blast them off with one of them cut-n-shoots  I was worried about the demise of this creation when I saw the title.

Bruce you do wonderful work, you know it, we know it, damn the people that bestow titles.

Any chance of seeing this masterpiece in action? Looks awesome

Not this one, I didnt even have a camera when I took it to the country. It does shoot well mechanically but without sights it took me 3 shots to hit a pop can at 10 feet.

I am working on a shooter that will have adjustable rear sight and a longer barrel. I do like the .45 cal better than my smaller .22s I made. Some nice "bump" to it. hehe

If I can ever put out anything 1/8 as amazing as that baby I will die a happy man! Outstanding as ever Bruce, every consider taking children/indentured servants in exchange for a pistol knife?

I have always wanted a servant or two.:D

Very pretty, but my hands sting just thinking about lighting off a .45 in that. I like my pachmeyer grips too much.
