I recently placed a order on a new custom Demko, due this summer. A new top secret design ;) I will tell you that, it will put every other "Heavy Duty Folder" to shame. Including the Super LawMan

Details details! Inquiring minds want to know...

Mine is my Protech tr-3. Nice lock up, lightning fast, 154cm is hard to beat and overall a tough knife.

Toughest folder I own is my Andrew Demko AD10 A/K/A American Lawman custom folder without a doubt. I don't own another folder with a stronger more reliable or better done lock than this one. I doubt I have too many more than would hold as much weight on the tail end before the lock or blade or some other part of the folder was forced to defeat either. The only ones that I have that might be stronger are the two production model Rajah I folders which are pretty dang tough also. Anyway, these three models would be my toughest most durable serious abuse rated folding knives.

STR

Salt 1 for 5 years working as a landscaper. It is serrated and has seen alot of use. Things I cut with it: Sod, plastic bags, plastic straps, weed removal, rope - hemp, cotton and nylon, small branches, cardboard, U nail removal and lots of other stuff.
Maintenance - Occasional sharpening on the Sharpmaker. Rinse out with water. Lube of the pivot, not so much. This thing is ugly but takes a beating an comes back for more.

That's the exact type of work my Delica3 went through for 6 years without showing any signs of giving up. That is until I ran over it with the mower. If I still had that knife I'd probably never have bought all these folders I experiment with now. :(

Same here. I had a spyderco that I got I believe in 2003 in wally world and it was the only knife I had until late 2009. Lost it.. :(. Then I came on these forums to do research on knives as wally world stopped selling the native.. well lets just say that now I have 4 sebenzas and have went through a ton of other high quality folder... :D

No doubt my Kershaw JYD II composite blade....built like a zt for half the price....this thing makes me feel happy when I hold it.....maniacally happy..... ;)
