Tracker, love it or hate it....(pic)

We are in production on a Carbon Steel version called the Predator RAVEN WSK and Companion ESK. We have pictures posted on other threads in this forum, Also you can see more details in our Store on our website.
We are moving on to other types of designs as well. The Companion ESK is a great knife and a really cool project. It has outperformed my initial expectations.

Went on little adventure this weekend and took a few photos wanted to share.

Was at the school last year and none of the staff used a tracker or scout. Matter of fact, i believe tom's son (T3) was carrying/using a Spyderco Manix. What does that tell ya?

Im not a fan of tops and the edges they put on their blades. I had the red scorpion which had a better edge geometry than the tracker and gave it to my brother. The only wsk i currently own is a Mark Terrell. He does a fine WSK in D2. Worth the wait.

FWIW... Used my Victorinox hiker more than any other blade. You can carve a nice fire board with a hiker. For things requiring some chopping i used my busse badger attack. This knife is now my go to fixed blade. still shaving sharp!

Still really like the little companion knife from RS6, I will probably be needing one of those.

I didn't know I was violating rules by asking for feedback and showing off our work. Sorry.
This is just one of the threads I read up on. I will not be posting on this thread any longer.

I personally don't care for the Tracker knife. Some people love it and tha is fine. However, anyone skilled in knifecraft that uses a knife designed to be a knife and then uses the Tracker, will quickly feel the difference in the two designs and prefer the simplicity of a good ole' compact belt knife. The Tracker looks "busy" with too much going on for my taste.

As far as promoting something you don't use yourself, I don't respect that position. It is a case of "do as I say, not as I do" and I learned to recognize this poor leadership/character quality early on in life.

Giggle my memory, but didn't a knifemaker, here or in knifefroums, make a "cleaned up" version of the tracker?
