Tracker, love it or hate it....(pic)

Hey Red..I would definitely get one with those changes..prefer no sawback though and a different handle material. Just plain black micarta would be sweet (no pattern). Sheath is great too.

thinking about this one:

or this one as another version. currently we are only doing these as requested mods.

Woot! I like that sheath! Similar to the one I made for my RS6 Predator, but yours looks much nicer:

The WSK design captured my imagination upon first sight. The idea of a single blade multi-tool really appealed to me. After pondering the various models available at the time, I finally bit the bullet and invested in an RS6 Predator. Everything I imagined about the knife came true for me. Though I didn't subject the knife to any abuse, I put it through the paces of what I would expect from a knife of it's size and caliber. The RS6 Predator functioned spectacularly for me! After a day of chopping and being batoned to split wood, it still carved nicely and needed very little work to refresh the edge to shaving sharp.

The following pics are from my first 'real test' of the knife. It has since accompanied me on every trip since.

I figured the very tip of the blade may be a week point, so when batoning I tried to give myself a striking point as far in from the tip of the blade as possible:

And though I did not picture any examples here, the saw teeth make notching quick and easy.

The Predator is a great tool. Thanks Aaron!

Someday I hope to own few more and different WSKs. First on my list would be to have Tim Horan make a JEB EVO-style or EST-style piece. Mr. Koster's design intrigues me, too. So many variations, so little funds. Someday...

you can find Horan here

He has recently done some mods to the handle with loveless bolts. Great pictures and good answer to the permantely attaching handles. We use the removable fixtures to make it easy for end user to customize, but some have had them come loose. This solution would solve this problem.

redscorpion6, Sorry, you need to have a knifemaker membership in order to advertise and discuss your knives in Bladeforums. I'll refrain from editing your posts if you upgrade today. It's not much more money, and you'll have great access to the For Sale section and everywhere else.

Brian,

I am working with Spark on getting that done, so this posting is not about us. Rawhide Leather who makes Leather Sheaths for the TOPS Tracker & Scout and for Our Predator has a new add on for his sheaths. The "Survivor Case" for the personal survival kits.

Whether you have the Predator or the Tracker Sheath the "Survivor Case" is available.
I really like mine and it helps to complete the rig as an entire system.
Here is the website for greater details if you are interested.

Ok, Aaron. Nice looking sheath.

Spark answered -- here's a quote from his post:

"You buy the 2nd subscription, and notify me (Spark) when it's done. I deactivate the first subscription and put the additional time on your greater one."

You got the info, so go get the subscription, man! Time is running out now...:D

Redscorpian6, this rig look neat. Could you take a profile picture so I can see how thick this setup is?

Hahaha that's Ava Cowan. She's a model, did a photo shoot for RS6. They're something to look at all right.

I just envy George at Onyx Photography. This guy shoots some of the most beautiful women in the world 24/7. I think I chose the wrong profession....

I think I will keep those knives safe for a long time. lol they are very special..

This is not a For Sale forum, just a discussion forum, Aaron.

I thought you may change your mind. Yes, we have the knives stored in a safe place. I should get her to sign them. Perhaps they may be collectors items one day. lol

Do you think Posters would be good idea?

Done if you let me stay online. lol
I need some one to do one of those Motivational Posters like your avatar.
Being A Knife Collector
It's All about Covering Your

Firesteel but no striker?

Ok, I might be noob at this, but I tought you couldn't get sparks from a firesteel with stainless steel. Correct me if I'm wrong.
