If killteamTRS is still willing to grant a reversal, that would be only by virtue of his own lenient generosity. I certainly wouldn't hold it against him if he refused, as he has met all forum obligations in my opinion.

He stated yesterday to reverse the trade that he would mail my knife back to me today (this morning specifically). And those were the terms of agreement.
"Done. I will have the tracking number and package on its way tomorrow AM. When should I expect the tracking number on the endura?"

"If you ship it early enough in the morning and send me a tracking number, I can have it shipped in the afternoon. If you ship too late in the afternoon tomorrow, I will have to wait a day."
$lug: you did not meet your terms of agreement and have neglected to follow through with procedure as promised. I was more than willing to send the knife back to you granted that you followed through to end this unnecessary aggravation, HOWEVER you have FAILED to do so. I have taken into account the time difference between TX and NJ, and you have also failed to meet the required time it would take to get to the PO as well as send the package. You agreed to send me a tracking number TODAY "AM" 20 December 2011, and have failed to do that as well. With that said $lug, you will NOT be able to reverse the trade as you have aborted your duty to return the knife in a timely manner. Any further action taken by $lug will be considered harassment, and I would prefer that you refrain from contacting me in any fashion or manner in the future. You have voided the contract that we had. Thank you for your time, and enjoy the holidays.

Just read the thread while you two sit here and stare at other. Sounds to me like its a dead issue based on posted Forum Rules. IF the current individual with the complaint actually posted Positive Feedback, Dead issue unless some reasonable explanation is offered which negates the Positive Feedback posting.

Hey Slug,
Did you by any chance mention here at BFC that you had it for 48 hours, that you were initially "fine with it" and then after having it in your possession for 48 hours, you became unhappy at a friend's suggestion?
Here's how you stop this train.
First, don't be an ass and run this jabber all over the place. Keep it in one spot. Near as I can tell, you joined another forum just to complain about this guy.
Second, you've been told that despite your initially being good with this, and lemme say this, if you've had it in your possession for 48 hours, we've NO idea what the hell you've done with it, your trade will get undone.
Third, instead of simply accepting this, you continue to run about wondering why he's being a dick. And you failed to meet your own self-imposed deadline. Whoops.
He's only giving what he's getting, and lots less so.
Quit your sniveling, take it to PM's, get this thing done.
Or don't, since you apparently can't hold up your end of this after wanting out and committing to your out.

Yes I inspected it and by all means thought it was gtg. Someone else pointed out the tip and it befuddled me.
I asked to have the trade reversed. (He refused, I posted, he reversed, now this)
After everything he said he would not ship the spyderco back until he recieved the spartan.
I asked why? and said I would bring it to the mods attention here to ask if this is propper. I felt he was holding one knife hostage for the other.
After I stated I would post he changed his mind and said that if I sent a tracking number he would ship it. Still not on my terms and hes still trying to control the situation. I just wanted it reversed. I intended to have his on his way (mind you have to ship first for some reason?) I have a tracking number for it however it is not handed to a post office employee yet. (paid for but not dropped off) I will be dropping it off in the AM. I did not want to send a number that was not marked as a received. I notice he keeps claiming on "my" terms but they are not they are still his. Now hes just refusing again.

I cannot tell the blade is bent from your video. You are welcome to post clear and concise pictures to prove your point at anytime...in fact you should have done so in the first place/already. From what i can see in your video looks to be the usual CS profiling. Again clear and concise pictures are needed.
Inspection periods are negotiable, it is something you shouldve agreed to BEFORE the transaction took place.
Barring that a 24 hr inspection period is pretty much standard.
You are responsible to do said inspection and not leave feedback until you are sure. Once feedback is left, one assumes that the deal is consumated.
The package was supposed to be in the mail and tracking number forwarded already.

Karda I humbly respect your opinion. I also agree about the feedback. For me to have left it and then say I want it reversed is somewhat awkward. It has never happened to me with the 100 or so trades I have had over the course of my time on forums. Where does this leave me? If I am to drop it so be it. I would still like it reversed however it is what it is I got a knife passed off on me and got the short end of the stick. Live and learn.
I resorted to coming here once things broke down because I need an arbiter of some form, not before. Thank you for your time and further input.

I'm almost certain your civil rights have been violated.
Let us know what they say.
Oh, make sure to keep that video in a safe place now that you've removed it; The jury will want to see that during the trial. (it's evidence ya know).
By the way, I don't think you ever explicitly said, was the tip like that when you got it, or did you bend it?

You're really going to go his local PD over this? Cost of flights, lodging, legal fees, so on and so forth. Its a $45 knife. If you lost your knife in the woods would you call Search and Rescue? I know you're a full time student, but that doesn't seem like a very educated course of action.
