Okay, so this is a photo taken last summer, I had nothing to do with cooking this myself (my dad did it) and the knife in the picture was not used in the butchering or preparation of the food...but it sure helped me tackle it once it was on the plate. Thanks Dad.

The knife is a Rough Rider split back whittler.

MEAT!
What God intended man to live off of!!
I confess that I do not understand vegetarians, let alone vegans! Who can deny the pleasure of a large part of an animal cooked how you like it on your plate!
Totally forgot too! My wife, my son and I went to my parents for dinner. My dad had smoked some ribs and sausage on his new Trager grill. It was phenomenal!Had some BBQ for dinner but forgot to take any pictures. I guess I was distracted by the plate of hot links. My wife won’t let me have them anymore so I get them when she isn’t around.
Those look great. We normally get skirt steak and have the membrane removed, it makes fore really tender fajitas.Today we did fajitas... not my specialty but they came out good enough. 77 was along for the ride, though I seldom use my pocket knives for food prep.

That’s what I use, they came out tender enough... I’ve done better though. They are all gone so as usual I am my worst critic..Those look great. We normally get skirt steak and have the membrane removed, it makes fore really tender fajitas.
It looks like I need to get out and fire up the grill/smoker, I haven’t posted in here in a while.
Oh man that looks goood!
I’d like to know more about that set, and the sheath.
