Traditional blades and BBQ

Pork ribs yesterday. That's Sam in the background... admiring my new knife ;)

Well, as awesome as those ribs are lookin...... it is a mighty fine knife I’m sure that’s what caught his eye:D

Mitt, That looks mighty tasty! The fajitas look perfect. I did a yardbird today, but no pics....
Thanks, everything did turnout better than I thought. I was a little worried about the hens. They were still a little frozen when I put them on

Early start on the long weekend(which finds me having to work tomorrow, as a salaried employee time off has no meaning ...nor do holidays).
Ribs pork & beef and some of them Johnsonville firecracker sausages (marked limited edition, my eye started twitching.... collecting syndrome).
Then sausages were tasty, but way too greasy.
Case accompanied me and has nipped a seegar, or two.

Josh and Mitt

I’m glad I ate already because all that meat goodness is mighty fine

Everything is done and read to take over to my grandmothers for dinner.

When the wolf shows up on your way there, just drop the bbq and walk away slowly. Guess you'll be save then ;)

That looks delicious!

Burning brisket today - going to use the rehandled ( peacheood from the yard ) Ontario in about 4hours View attachment 968124
You will have to post up how it turned out. Two of the best things from central Texas, brisket and peaches. I wish you could still get a bushel of good peaches (Fredericksburg peaches) but they are getting far and few between.

Just noticed my post count hit 281. What are the chances of that when talking about central Texas?

Will do, usually turns out ok . Hard to impress people around here with all the competition I'm against. I'm 100' west of 281

I may have passed by you a few times then. I have traveled 281 between San Antonio and Hico many times just to avoid 35 and enjoy the slower pace and the drive.
