Traditional Dress carry

What knife or knives do you carry when you dress up? I’m taking my two oldest boys to see Handel’s Messiah tonight and I’m carrying my new Moki fish owl! It’s not fancy, but it has class.

For the last few years its been one of these. But to be quite honest, I can be in jean shorts, a Carhart t-shirt and sandals and feel dressed up when I’ve got one of these two in my pocket.

When I get all formal with my kilt, I have a Stockman and maybe a Barlow and Canoe (and perhaps a moose or trapper,) in my sporran, with the traditional 7 or 9 inch over-all sgian dubh in my right sock.

I have selected these two options as my vest pocket carry for church tomorrow. It will either be the AG Russell pinched peanut in stag and VG 10 or the Case/Bose sway back in Damascus and stag.

I got lucky and the security guard let me through anyway. Otherwise it would have been a long trek back to the car.
