I believe I did see that the Islander Northport is Long Island Watch's take on the 62MAS.

I like the Miyota 9015 movement they went with over the Seiko NH35 or 36. Mine has been averaging about -1 to -1.2 seconds per day which is very good for a mechanical movement
 
Since it is still jeans weather for the next week, I'll just keep rolling with these. Going to give the IXL an actual test drive for a few days and see how it runs.

The watch is a full plate, 1890ish Elgin BW Raymond that I repaired and slapped into a glass back nickel case built from the parts bin.
