How has the ivory held up? I'm seriously considering a french knife in mammoth ivory (probably from FP) but here conflicting things about its durability.I bought this one on eBay. Unfortunately I’m afraid that it is one made after Angel Navarro’s death, when his daughter had taken over. Scales are made of real ivory.

How does it handle? Is the blade similar to their laguiole or is it a bit beefier? What's the blade thickness?
Maybe it's my French heritage but I can't seem to find a french knife I don't love. That's a beauty mate!Ok, we are not Monday but I'm not sure it will be available next monday.
It's just to help, not mine and not for me. On the french forum this knife is for sell. If you are interested I can buy it for you .
It's a Lombard by Adrien Giovaninetti with a white acrylic handle.
