A "Laguiole Sarrans", made by "Benoit l'Artisan". The scales are made from rowan wood, stemming from trees that had been immersed by the floods of the "Sarrans" reservoir for nearly 100 years.

Nice "Rowan" knife!! I know that wood as mountain ash (when it's
on the ground!! )!!
It makes great walking sticks also!!

I sometimes use Jérôme Latreille's Navaja and the Gueuleton. I have to admit that I am too worried to loose or damage them if I put them through hard use. That's what I have cheaper blades for.
