Traditional French Fry day

A 12 cm "plein manche" with Padauk scales. It was made by the young knife maker Yoan Roques who has his workshop in Condom d'Aubrac.

A question for S Skyline Drive since you seem to be the only one here with a Voissiere. Is this mouche style a signature of his? It is a very distinct look.
In a way yes, his « abeilles » have a distinct style, his very own touch. But on the other hands he very often makes « mouches » with totally different motives, like animals heads, mystical figures etc. You can find these on his website.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. The variety and detail in his mouches is incredible, though I have to say I still favor the abeille the most. The texture and design is superb. I think I'll have to add Voissiere to the wish list.

I can't believe I want to get a knife simply because of the mouche.

🤣 Weren't you purchasing knives primarily for the blade stamps as well? It's all about the fine details!
