Traditional French Fry day

waynorth waynorth do you still have Le 1925 by Marie Taillardat? Would love to know how you have used it. I broke out my green Douk Douk in Sandvik. Very thin and sharp and very light to carry. I have also enjoyed seeing some of the Sons of Douk Douk with the aboriginal artwork on the handles.image.jpg

Did someone say Pradel? ;)

Is there any way to date it? I am really curious to narrow down the "1867-nowadays" frame. It is safe to assume that it is not of the 19th, nor the 21st century, but that's it. Maybe closer to the middle of the 20th century... Bolsters (and liners, I think) are steel, if that helps.
Pradel has become a generic name, so impossible to say when it was assembled and by who. Probably 70-90's, but still in production.

Cash, Dylan and Latreille.

Thanks, they say she has made a smaller version of it 1925 B , but I have not been able to see any pics of it.
They are not that easy to find. I don’t want to post a link to a dealer that is probably not supporting bf but if you search for Brandners Homesstyle (a company from Germany) you’ll find several 1925 and 1925 bb with pictures

Almost like Laguiole?
Not exactly, Laguiole is a village, Pradel a family name, famous for making sturdy knives. The brand's trademark was an anchor and stopped making knives long ago. The name was used by many makers with no link to the original, just because it was a symbol of quality to many.

@AlexY : this is how looks a real Pradel.
