like this one
my grandfather gave it to me when I was like 4 years old, my first ever knife
i've been looking for a 1985 one for years, that would be my birthdate and would be a great thing to own one to actually be able to use

This one ranks up real high on the "Grail List". Unfortunately it already has a happy owner, and he seems kinda attached to it :D
The Stockmans aren't my favorite pattern , but I do like em if they are around 3 7/8 inches to a little over 4 inches closed, but for this particular knife, it could easily be given the title. Every time I see this knife, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy

my Grail knife is easy...it's c.platts' sons rope knife

Mike, if anything should befall me, remind my "missus" that that one is willed to you. (You can save this post as evidence. I'd know it was in good hands and Trav's to follow.)

Now, don't go wishing any bad juju on me. That wouldn't be the traditional forum way. ;):p (They say that patience is a virtue (I wouldn't know) and I hope to stick around a bit.)

And, I would hope, several strong pairs of suspenders. :D Woof, those are some chunky puppies. That Tony Bose in ivory though - lordy what a knife!

I am very touched by the sentiment. I've never been good at patience either, but am getting better as I get older. I won't tell Trav though, because you know at his age, he has Zero patience LOL.

No, no bad juju :D I hope you are around for many more years to enjoy her

A Bose shadow, 4 - 4.25", in dark micarta would be the daily worker.

An English Jack with nice hardwood, fancy bolsters, and one of two blade setups (large spear with small coping or large wharncliffe with small pen) would be the dressy one.
