I had a 44 Super Blackhawk long ago, unfortunately it was stolen with all my guns at the time. Wish I still had it.

Awesome combo!View attachment 2425671View attachment 2425673In keeping with the original post looking for guns and knives that would not look out of place in the 50’s or 60’s…
Nice, Jim, the black eagle grip medallions!
Jeff, pretty amazing condition with the original grips for something over 70 years old!!Awesome combo!
Those old Ruger 22's (specifically the MK I my dad had) is one of the first guns he taught me to shoot. Those pics bring back some memories, especially that first one. It reminds me of going into my dad's shop while he was working on a project to ask for a carton to go walking in the woods with!
Edit to add: An accompanying knife in the pocket went without saying!![]()
Wow, great looking old school rig. I’ve often thought about the Tisas 1911A1 and looked at several reviews, but I’ve never handled one. I’ve even thought about the 9mm version. That place in South Carolina has some very tempting prices on them. I might just have to pick one up.There is no such thing as having too much fun.
Reproduction ww2 pistol belt with tisas 1911a1 clone in .45 auto (I’ve put over 1k rounds through it and it runs like a champ). Classic kabar and the trusty little shapleigh jr cattle from the 1940’s-1950’s.

You are welcome and thank you! They look good together!About as classic and traditional as I can get. Holster and mag carrier from DaveHorsewright . Both quality products as always. Mag carrier purchased last year, holster arrived within the last 30 minutes. I am looking forward to using both. A 1911 deserves a quality, leather holster and this holster certainly fills that bill. Thanks Dave for another quality product

Hmm...Let's see.... Walnut, cherry, leather, blued steel, case hardening, trio of slip joints.... Yep, checks all the boxes!Henry Bigboy with walnut stocks and GEC/Northwoods dressed up in Cherry. They seem to get along.
Love the case hardened Henry, but that Northwoods is really grabbing my attention. Great toothpick pattern. Awesome combo you have there.View attachment 2464404
