Traditional Knife and Gun Picture Thread

The Colt and the coin were minted the same year while the blade was made at least four years earlier. All are still serving well.

Awesome combo!
Those old Ruger 22's (specifically the MK I my dad had) is one of the first guns he taught me to shoot. Those pics bring back some memories, especially that first one. It reminds me of going into my dad's shop while he was working on a project to ask for a carton to go walking in the woods with!

Edit to add: An accompanying knife in the pocket went without saying! 🤣

Nice, Jim, the black eagle grip medallions!

Jeff, pretty amazing condition with the original grips for something over 70 years old!!

I would imagine a lot of these guns went on many adventures by young guys in the woods of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and everywhere else looking for squirrels, rabbits, or just clumps of dirt to shoot.

There is no such thing as having too much fun.

Reproduction ww2 pistol belt with tisas 1911a1 clone in .45 auto (I’ve put over 1k rounds through it and it runs like a champ). Classic kabar and the trusty little shapleigh jr cattle from the 1940’s-1950’s.

Wow, great looking old school rig. I’ve often thought about the Tisas 1911A1 and looked at several reviews, but I’ve never handled one. I’ve even thought about the 9mm version. That place in South Carolina has some very tempting prices on them. I might just have to pick one up. 🤔

About as classic and traditional as I can get. Holster and mag carrier from Dave Horsewright Horsewright . Both quality products as always. Mag carrier purchased last year, holster arrived within the last 30 minutes. I am looking forward to using both. A 1911 deserves a quality, leather holster and this holster certainly fills that bill. Thanks Dave for another quality product
