Photos Traditional knives and playing cards

Happy coincidence I photographed my Godfathers cards today then saw this thread.

He was in the Royal Flying Corp in WW1,I don’t know how old these one’s are but they are old.

The medals mine, the knife is a British Army issue clasp knife over 60 years old.

Well, Victorinox! My faithful Mountaineer, been with me during all business trips and helped me a lot in my daily routine. Truly a little big toolbox! And the cards are from Victorinox too, though saying "Made in EU" so not sure where it comes from exactly. Short deck of 36 cards.

I wonder if they are from a German area as the Germans also play with 36 cards.

I went through a pandemic phase of card collecting, but got rid of most of them by this point, and only keep the few I really enjoyed.
"Little Deck of Horrors" is my favorite horror themed one I've found so far.
Otherwise, I prefer Cardimundi stock and simple designs like Republics or KingSlayers
