Love the PLOMB pebble 5249.
That series is the longest continually produced ratchet mechanism in history and one of the most copied too.
You can take the guts from a brand new PROTO j5249 and drop them right into this 90 year old ratchet.

The Williams Superatchet is nice too.

I never knew they offered a set of the H6 paired with a pair of bernard patent parallel jaw Sargent pliers.

I find it interesting that Sargent is still in business making these in the US today but you just don't hear about them, they're not cheap but still reasonable enough.

New pliers just arrived.

Channellock e346 " linesmen's " pliers, they're linesman like and I suppose that's what most people here in the US would think, but really they're just a 6" combination pliers which are distinguished by the round gripping area.

As I understand the combination pliers are basically Europe's equivalent to slipjoint pliers here in the US, the default general purpose pliers.

Btw your post made me order 2 more pairs of Channellock pliers, and funny enough it wasn't the 2 you posted because I already have both of those models.

I think I'm getting close to 35 pairs of pliers / cutters plus the large screwdriver set and pick sets I have, I definitely do not have enough Channellock yet.
