Traditional knives and tools

I wonder what their reasoning was?? They likely were not making enough profit!!
I'm not 100% sure but I think it has to do with the cooper industries then subsequent Danahar buyout.
They also owned Diamond and and Herbrand which they shut down as well.
I believe herbrand went Chinese in the late 70's or early 80's.
If I'm not mistaken they also owned Bonny which I've been told is still in business but back to making plumbing fittings...ect instead of tools.

Oh I was talking about the tool company, Utica Kutmaster is still around and making knives.
I think they might still have a traditional pocket knife model or two, but otherwise they just seem to be making their Essee style fixed blades.
