Traditional mug shots

You dodged the bullet on the watch thing ~P, whew! Little did I know how badly I'd get bitten when I went looking for information on a cheap Russian hand winding watch years ago. I've studiously avoided the whole flashlight thing by carrying nothing but Maglites for years. It was close when I went looking for a small powerful light for my wife and picked up a Fenix (in purple, her favorite). I survived by diving head first into traditional knives! :D

Oh heck, that's not surviving. That's jumping from the frying pan right into the fire!:D

Carl.

Here's a pic from the BLADE show a couple years ago. It has a few folks that hang
out around here.... Vince, Bret Dowell, Rick Menefee, Scott, Rocky Menefee and Me (Jason)

What a good looking dog.

Yes. A German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd Mix.
She has the size of the German and the coloring of the Australian.
And the intelligence of both. She is a handful.
ummm. make that "armful".

Are you sure you survived?

Ed J

LOL, not really sure about that Ed! Especially since I just found (and subsequently bought) a #66 NF Mink Skinner in burnt stag. My 4th 66, with one of each pattern in each of bone (moose), acrylic (jack), wood (stockman) and now stag :D

Oh yeah, a watch came today too...

I think you're right Carl!

My wife was going through some totes in the basement looking for Christmas decorations and found a box of old photos.
Sorry, my scanner is kind of streaky, but here are some oldies of me.

In my mid 20s as a young assistant golf pro. Note the 36" waisted pink plaids!

I don't doubt it, Kevin. It'd be hard convincing him to leave home and join the service. :p

I'm quite new on the forum.
Pics are of my Grey Bailey and my cat Tasha.
Also, one while in the US last month for a football game.
(I'm wearing a hat.)

Great pics everyone!

I don't have any pictures of myself except the ones my wife makes us get every year. So here is one from our family pics a month or so ago with my bride of 13 years.

Welcome, kwk1.

Did your team win that day?

It appears that Tasha's Reign is going well. Heh. (Though the bird might have other ideas of who's in charge...?)

-- Jared, I'm glad your wife insists. That's a great picture, and I'm glad to have a face to go with the name and the stunning work.

Yes they did win, it made the 8 hour drive worth it.
Tasha is good, 11 months now and always stalking the bird. She is a Savannah and has a small % of African Serval in her and is a little more agressive/outgoing than a regular cat.
Bailey can handle her self quite well though.

Thanks Roland, it's funny you say that because I am struggling financially more than ever before in my married life, just as many others in this terrible recession. Yet my life is richer than it has ever been thanks to a refocus on the things that really matter.

Jared, inspirational picture of how rich life can be. Thanks for posting it.
