Great older version of the Explorer - I wanted one of the older ones myself (the magnifier seems to be more robust) but I didn´t get it. I got such a Explorer for my Mum at Christmas in 2008 and it´s the only knife she uses to carry every day in her pack (THAT`s a real EDC :D )

The Wenger Handyman is like a Vic Huntsman on steriods ;) - imo

Thanks Andi! The Explorer is one of my favorite cellidor patterns along with the Swiss Champ and the Champion.


I'm cleaning up my Wengers today...here's another similar one.

The Forester is like the Handyman but with a chain and corkscrew but this one has a locking main blade so that makes it a Security 17.

Btw, all my SAKs have the gray (glass) mag too. I don't care for the new style one...too set in my ways I guess.
 
Nice Explorer SAK Guy! That's a model I do not have.....yet.

XDM - Nice catch! The Minichamp is one of my constant companions. Even have one next to "my spot" to play with while watching educational programming. Lol.
 
Stumbled on to an auction....

Mid 70's, 6 layer Champion in great shape, just light pocket wear! Un-sharpened blades, silver top tweezers and unused tools except for the metal file which has some very light use (and need cleaning)!
