Traditional SAK's

That split ring nub has been a complaint for years...I used to just file it off completely (still have two like this) but since the RA started, I need lanyards so I leave them on.

My orig '83 Pioneer was the one that educated me on that split ring nub....off it came (they were brass back then so an easy fix).

It's strange because the red plastic handled ones have the nub coming more out to the end and not up, of course now you can't change that once it's all peened together, but maybe in the future they could use that style?

And with the green guy, I would be hesitant to try and grind that off, but then I'm a fob kind of person ;)

I like how the 108's are set up for the lanyard. Easy on the hand!

Carrying these today (I've got stuff that needs doing) and it won't hurt if I drop 'em. RA day as well.

Wrap up those chores Robert, clean up, have a good Supper then settle in for an evenings cigar and some good radio;)

Those are my plans at least:D

Now I can play with the SAK gang. Just ordered this baby. I was wanting a black minichamp til I came across this yellow. May have to carry three knives daily now.

Nice start there! that will be easy to find for sure! Well my ankle is allowing me to be a little more mobile the past few days, I have a few sheaths to catch up on but wasn't quite up to starting in on those, but, took a smaller project to provide protection for my Apoc Rancher, a soft leather slip sheath, it will prevent pocket 'stuff' from dinging it up as well as keeping the dust bunnies out too. Along next to it is a very old slip sheath that is showing some vintage leather colour and feel from years of pocket carry for my SAK Executive, both knives will ride together in my right front pocket...from now on until?

Really like that yellow!!!!! I want one with Spongebob on it!!!! :D

Thanks I'm pretty happy with that layout on the colour, glad it wasn't also green around the cross too, makes it stand out even better.

I was searching through some old boxes today and found my Wenger knife that traveled around the world with me in the 1980's .
I have a fuzzy memory of those days , but I seem to remember it opening copious amounts of wine ( probably the reason my memory is fuzzy )

That's a pretty one Sarah!

Well, my Cadet arrived tonight, a black alox, pretty sweet, sorry I hadn't known about these earlier, while it's not the green of my Apoc Rancher, it makes a nice companion to that one;
