Grilling season is upon us here in Western New York... Tonight it's bacon cheeseburgers. I was a little short on charcoal so my recently re handled tramontina machete helped me out with battoning up some sugar maple to supplement my briquettes.
Edited to add: The Griswold number 6 is handling the bacon duty this evening...![]()

Had Easter dinner and visiting with my oldest daughter and son-in-law, they made a GREAT Easter dinner for us all - the skillet bread was a big hit. Afterwards I took them fishing in a creek right out back of the house. Me and my Medium Stockman stayed pretty busy with snags, re-tying leaders, unsnarling reels, etc., but my wife, daughters, and S-I-L all had a great time. My younger daughter, seated in her chair, loved every minute of it - she told me every snag was a "feesh"! We're all looking forward to the next time. OH

Thanks WW, we sure enjoyed it, my youngest daughter loves doing anything that her older sister and brother-in-law are doing. Nothing wrong with being a messy cook either, its the eating that counts! OHYour daughter definitely looks like the picture of happiness, and that is an amazing looking dinner.![]()
