Traditionals and Cast Iron Cookware

Threw an egg onto the leftovers from the other night, with some HOT chili sauce. PHEW.:p:p:p But good.:thumbsup:

My family is fortunate to have a couple of gentleman that we purchase beef and pork from directly. So I'm kind of spoiled in that regard.
Mate, way to go, i used to have the same luck to be able to get beef and lamb off friends who had a farm. As you would know, the difference is just so obvious, so enjoy your good fortune. :p:p:p:);).
 
This thread and YT videos, mainly Cowboy Kent Rollins have been my guide.
I have had this Lodge 10.25 skillet a little over a month and have been working on the seasoning. It's been working good the last few days, so, today I thought I would venture into the unknown and do something a little more complex than I have been doing.
Cowboy KR's Best Ever Fried Rice and Secret Sauce. Mighty tasty!
I have to confess the 110 was not harmed in any way:D

I Don't like promoting anyone on the forum, but Cowboy Kent is good, and a funny bloke.:D:D:D.
He does know about cooking with cast iron. Also he talks about knives, their use, care and maintenance.

You have to look up and try his - Best Ever Zesty Meatloaf. Believe me you won't be disappointed.
 
I have watched several of his cooking vids. Good stuff, definitely recommend. Haven't watched one in a while though.
