Picked up half a beef today, frying up some trimmings off of a sirloin that I don't have a big enough pan for. The EDChef killing it again...

Mate, way to go, i used to have the same luck to be able to get beef and lamb off friends who had a farm. As you would know, the difference is just so obvious, so enjoy your good fortune.My family is fortunate to have a couple of gentleman that we purchase beef and pork from directly. So I'm kind of spoiled in that regard.

I have had this Lodge 10.25 skillet a little over a month and have been working on the seasoning. It's been working good the last few days, so, today I thought I would venture into the unknown and do something a little more complex than I have been doing.
