There is something about eggs in Cast Iron, don't seem the same in a stainless pan and no way near as good in non-stick.

This thread needs a kick along. Rump steak in cast iron resting on a trivet when cooked. Helps keep the steak warm while resting, and just cuts so tender. They do this in steak restaurants on a large scale, but this works at home. Better mention potato's and Lambsfoot knife. Very simple meal, only added salt and pepper and some worcestershire sauce. .
