I use that same pot on the grill to melt butter and garlic. I pour it on whatever I'm cooking, usually burgers or steak.

Pouring rain two nights back (last eastern NC remnants of TS Debby) but I wanted cheeseburgers - so Skillet Burgers were the order of the day. Was carrying my Craftsman Premium Stockman Friday - as dependable as the black iron skillet! OH

Beautiful pocketknife - the bolster is unique. That dinner in your Lodge skillet looks mighty good. I bought my daughter and her husband a new Lodge Skillet last Christmas, they liked mine - theirs also has the same handle design yours does, Lodge must have changed the handle style after all these years. Must only be a recent change, i was looking at some about 3 years ago and they were still the old style.Lodge must have changed the handle style after all these years
Yes sir! We do.I am whuppin' up some bacon as we speak. We do love our shootin' arns and our cookin' arns.
I can smell that bacon all the way over in Dallas.Participating in the Pen Knife thread this morning, posted a 6208 among others, that caused me to pull out my 6308 Whittler and carry it. In my pocket while I was cooking up some breakfast at home this morning. The new Lodge hot pads made to slip on the handle are real nice - no slipping like occasionally when you wrap a regular hot pad or dish towel. I got a pack of two, one’s down at the creek with my Lodge skillet and this red/white one is at home to use with my Smithy skillet. OH![]()
Thanks Dave! I am going to count that as my 'good deed for the day' (I was a Scout decades ago!) OHI can smell that bacon all the way over in Dallas.
