Got me a Moore Maker! Bought it on the big auction sight from someone in Alaska. Has a "little" patina and the blades had some side play so I re-peened the pivot pin and gently rubbed off the surface rust inside and out. Quite a bit of elbow grease on the sharpening stones and ready for action again! Alaska via Texas and now Illinois - wish it could tell what it's seen!

Here's another 73L, this one from 2009.

Here is a steel 73 trapper with dark green bone. This is a nice knife and it has a good feeling of heft.

Red, mine is actually the big boy, the #23, and the lock has zero play. I suspect it had gone back to the factory before I bought it second hand, because the tang is not flush. Maybe this was done to cure some play in the lock, don't know?
