I got an email from the yard, but you can also see it in the scrap yard forums. It's for real and I was already in for 2!

That was still a bargain way back then. :thumbup:

So excited... I ordered one as soon as it went live and my cc was billed right away so I should be in line for an early one hahaha

I was going to pass on this one, but now I have two on order.
 
Wasn't at all interested when it was being made from 1095. That was a step backwards IMO. I know many others thouught the same.

SR-101, on the other hand, is a different story. $140 for 6.5" of 1/4" thick SR-101 is one hell of a deal!!! And some people's dream with a Res-C handle!

It was a GREAT deal, but it was also a military over-run so they had a lot of em...the sheath was pretty good as well
 
Wasn't excited about 1095, but pulled the trigger within minutes for SR-101
 
Haha I resisted this one because I had already bought four bussekin in the last two weeks and have a few knives in 1095 already but with the announcement of it being sr101 I couldn't resist any longer and ordered one !
 
Yep that changed my mind, i wasn't interested in it in 1095, ordered now though. Just a much better value and steel.
 
I probably would have opted for this rather than the BG ASH... but I've already got two of those coming. Might order a Trash 1 by morning, though

So the steel didn't meet their expectations and instead of "fixing it in the next run", they upgrade the steel for nada, and offer the TRASH-1 in SR101 at the same price for a couple more days! :eek:
