TRASH1 ON THE SYKCO net

Opinions are opinions and opinions often collide, each with their own selective set of supporting evidence. It's easy to lose sight of the fact that our right to our own opinions isn't made weaker in the least by another person's contrary opinions.

Thanks for your posts, Bladite. I hope Ethan's recovery goes well.

Exactly. Which is why I didn't let the stink and disrespect thrown on Busse knives in that thread weaken my opinion of them in the slightest.

Wow that's too bad. I doubt they're bad guys at all but that thread makes me appreciate the Busse Crew and this forum even more.

Hey we all love knives. Some are more passionate about it than others no worries and no regrets lets drink!

drinkies!

for what it's worth also, KaBar, who currently makes Ethan's knives, is a major player in the 1095cv arena and they use probably a dozen others. many of their makers use it, in particular, the crazy success "zombie line" (check out the Zomstro) with features Johnson grips. not to mention the dozens of others. so the KaBar main forum is probably good to talk about 1095*.

as well, there's Rowen and Esee as we know, and Ontario, and Tops, Anza, Schrade, and iirc Cold Steel, and let's not forget BRKT... even Olde Hickory. probably 200 more. common steel. good steel. there are some amazing custom makers as well.

Well I hope Mr. Busse will forgive me for posting his post but this made me weary because I know many of us were hoping scrapyard would start releasing more blades in 1095.. again if this is not appropriate feel free to remove this postView attachment 578847

Adam, Is that the 18,000 lbs of 1095 for sale thing? Img is busted, but I'm assuming it is?

Yes!!! I just ordered one!! Why ----- because they decided to swap it to SR-101 instead --- superior steel = superior blade!!

That's too bad. I was really hoping to see what Jerry could do with 1095. Maybe next time . . .

Yeah still shows it as 1095 on the yard. I am much more interested in it if its Sr101. Using both steels over the years Sr101 is a better performer.
