When I travel by air, I usually check my knife in my checked luggage and all is good. This Tuesday, the wife and I are flying to Phoenix for 4 days and we are not checking any luggage in this time. Man, I am going to feel wierd not having it on me.
Oh well, might buy a pos gas station knife when I get there just to feel normal!
Oh yeah, have to leave the keychain knife home too :-(

Good ideas but I like an actual knife. The feel, you know.
Thumb stud or flipper. My OTF's are home.

Don’t feel alone. My Dad (99 yrs.) fell and is in a nursing home for rehab. His biggest complaint…not being allowed to have his Buck in reach.
I once made the mistake of mentioning that I had a knife with me; Security showed up REAL quick to collect it!
(I did get it back)
Now: I keep my mouth shut...
Could you bring him a knife? (Not a great one...); or would he be subject to serious consequences if they caught him?

There should be a knife store on the way out of every airport. Then a donation drop box for local Boy/Girl Scouts on the way back in.

I don’t travel often, but leave my knives at home. I don’t recall ever buying one once I was there either.

The last airb&b we stayed in had something in the kitchen drawer I could carry.
