Tree Chopping Challenge **TREE DOWN!!!**

LOL - I'm honred to see someone dedicated enough to chop down a tree with a Skyline.

If you knew me, you better, you'd know that I have none of this honor of which you speak :)
 
Good thread, way to go. I honestly thought you would have given up after the 1st video but you've proved me wrong.

Keep going at it, nothing like chopping down a tree.

PS: Wear some wrist wraps and gloves. You may be young, but your not indestructible!

I will replace his Skyline when he's done, no problem.
 
You guys are making me feel special. Replied to your PM Luis. I will admit, I was thinking about quitting, but you guys have kept me going. Now there's no way I can keep this tree standing. I'm glad none of you are tree huggers ;).
 
I know you're a ways from knocking that thing down but be sure to check you're escape path and get away from it when it starts to fall hate to hear you got hurt doing this

Yeah, having something like that happen would ruin the good mature of this thread. Any way the tree falls should be ok unless all of the trees decide to domino into each other. Safety first!
 
I'm a tree hugger. I love trees. :) But hey, you already started murdering the tree, you might as well finish. I expect you to plant another one after you're done.

When this tree goes down, I'm going to be done with it forever. I'll just wait awhile for it to totally die and kick it over.

Also, I did some chopping today. I didn't video tape it because I didn't have anything to do it with, but I chopped for about 20 minutes. I started by getting most of the bark off on all sides of the tree and I chopped through a few layers.
 
Today I'm going to continue to take the bark off on all sides and get through the first couple layers of "skin". When I actually start to chop again, I'll video tape it. I think I'll take some pictures to keep you guys updated on what the tree looks like.
