Tri Ad Lock Failure

Not clear enough to tell what he did, or what the knife did for that matter.

Wow, how smart is that, spine whacking a sharpened knife? Especially one with a blade like that? The only torture I saw was the result of not being prudent enough to tape the blade off BEFORE, the "testing".

im most interested in the wolk gloves.

how much is a millimeedle? is that thick for wolk gloves?

they look like regular wolk gloves to me.

it was taped during the whack.

the tape failed. it was gorillal glue tape.

He's still an idiot. The tape is right on the edge, the knife is going to snap back and slice through it.

+1 to "You can break anything."

Mark, are you suggesting this guy was a doofus? :D

Ya have to be careful doing spine whacks, not to dislocate your shoulder reaching behind your back like that.

ok :)

I've watched a few of this kids videos. I don't believe this is the only time he has cut himself :) But despite the comminucation issues and the suspect testing procedures... he seems to be a decent enough kid who spends his allowance on knives instead of... well, you get the picture. My 2 cents.

You know, though I dislike Extrema Ratio and Dark Ops, they had a good idea.

What about incorporating a secondary lock to prevent accidental disclosure of the lock? Not just a Boye dent.

:Hissatsu5 does some great videos, and yes, his accent is HALERIOUS but you can easily get past that. The best one is where he says "with your fingle on the triggle" :D :D

Other than sheer entertainment value, why do people continue to do these type "lock failure / spine whack" videos?

They are lost on me. I can say in 30+ years of using knives I have never used one so hard that a spine whack failure was even a concern.

If I have to use a knife that hard then the fixed blades make an appearance.

I say again - they are entertaining...:D

He pressed the lock doing spine whacks.

He shows the knife still functioning and locking up tight after the stitches.
