Troubled Times call for Cold Steel

Depends on the woman, I see ones everyday I would not want to meet in a dark alley.
Obviously avoidance is best.
The only two times I have had to pull a knife it deescalated the threat, however it is always in the back of my mind.......if they have a gun I am sunk.

When things are dangerous, and unsettled; it always demands extreme measures. Especially, in regard to personal protection, and security. My Cold Steel 4 Max, and Scout are always a 'part' of the solution. Lynn Thompson markets his blades as hard-use implements, and martial weapons. The perfect augmentation for your primary weapon, and security philosophy.

My gosh.. those handles made my nips hard flipping unbelievable, brother

Sometimes, you gotta let out the inner tacticool, mall ninja, operator ultrabadass for a walk LMAO.
I think that every man has inner mall ninja that's in love with tacticool things :D
Most of us can keep that badass operator under control tho, but there's nothing wrong with letting him out here and there, and who knows, you might need him one day :D

I've always been meh about cold steel cause I honestly thought it was more like novelty weapons and cheap crap. Now that I'm getting into knives I'm itching to try one out big time. Any suggestions on a folder that has around a 4 inch blade? I'm not really picky about scales, and the steel itself isn't a big issue to me as well.

4-Max
AD-10 (listed as 3 1/2" but more like 3 3/4")
AD-15 (listed as 3 1/2" but more like 3 3/4")
Recon 1

I'm thinking you just opened the flood gates here. So many possibilities, any preference on blade shape(tanto, drop point etc)or edge(serrated or plain)?

Sorry fellas, my fault. Drop point and a plain blade. I know I can research, but I wanted to ask the peeps that actually put these knives to work. I trust your guys word over what I just see with my eyes on the net.

My vote goes to the recon 1. It’s my favorite folding knife and I carry one of the various versions I have nearly everyday.

If you like the Emerson wave, you can add a Snaggletooth to it:

Definitely a lot of choices, but may want to start with the Recon 1. It's been around for a long time, and seems to be the one CS folder that even non-CS fans agree is a great knife.

Spear point for around 80 is niiiice. I'm just more into the bang for the buck knives and that looks great for the money

Thanks, brother. I like the blade options as well, just incase I change my mind on the blade shape before I pull the trigger on one soon. I greatly appreciate it.

I like the owner. He seems like he could be your neighbor that you drink some beers with and then play with the knives lol! I like how he doesn't play it safe when he talks about his knives as well. He needs my money lol

If I may add: :D
Voyager L in Aus10a (solid budget knife)
SR1 in S35VN, not the Chinese-made Lite (higher end hard use folder)
AK-47 in S35VN
American Lawman in S35VN

They may not be as sleek as ZTs or Hinderers, but they’ll have your back any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

It's all good, brother. I use the knives that I have now like there is no tomorrow. It would get ugly fast after me having it for a few weeks lol! I don't hold back with them at the job sites
