Tweenahs - New Pictures, specs...

The 16 is definitely on my "Either Buy Or Die" list. Oh my gosh, I am totally freaking out right now.
 
BK16 with red liners and the black grivory will be awesome. Someone make sure Flexxx gets a Tweener early.

[1] i was astounded what a friend of mine who is a smoker pays for that shit. wow. i could like shoot EXPENSIVE ammo. a lot. still be ahead.

[2] another friend drops so much money on booze, esp in bars, that it puts even [1] to shame.

combine 1&2? wow, that's like buying a couple guns a year, plus 1000s of rounds of ammo. makes Beckers look ... frugal :>
 
Durnit, what if we're already doing what you suggest? Big reason that money is so tight in our household is that the wife is in medical school, and that's a mountain of debt... I'm getting tweeners anyways.

I can honestly say that after seeing those, I may never have to buy another custom knife, in that size range, ever again. I'm planning on getting all of them. A well rounded stable.

Did anything ever come of the name the tweeners contest? I started a new career, and it's been so crazy the last month and half that I'm WAY behind on everything happening on the forums.

Anyway, I'm just excited to see that the jimping is there.

How many of you guys are planning these as late christmas presents? I know I have about 2-3 of them planned (a ton for my budget).
 
I just showed my wife the tweeners... and she failed to see how they could be useful... She has been been very supportive so far, as long as the blades haven't been redundant. She'll still let me get them of course... but I got a good eye roll out of her.

Really thinking the BK16 and BK9 might become the only two blades I "NEED". I guess I really might end up selling all of my other knives after I get one of these. They should be much more comfortable to carry scout style than the BK2 that I'm using right now, and should still be plenty beefy for the stuff it is right right size for. Anything bigger than that and I'll just pull out the "big guns" with the BK9.

Just hard to think about selling the BK2 :(.

I've been waiting to see updated pics of those for a while now... WORTH THE WAIT. Those are B-E-A-- UTIFUL !! Will order a BK-16 as soon as they come out!

When will the KaBar 2012 Brochure come out? I can't wait to see the Tweeners in the lineup !

names... no idea... those are the official spy names :) for all i know, they have a last minute surprise entry in the catalog, and some lucky schmoe is getting a prize :) hope is eternal ;)

HOPEFULLY Ethan has the production ready versions in his hands by now, and shortly there will be *IN HAND* pictures of them being messed with.

i'm sure you'll freak out more...

about a month to go. you'll pretty much ignore national xmas day, and whatever holiday shrubbery entices you to chop it, and other holidays as one's people practice, the New Year's will be more about counting down the final DAYS until SHOT and the news and potential sales. oh my yes.

And yes, I'll likely be trying to get the wife something at the same time. Last time I swung the BK2 by getting her a new chefs knife at the same time. Not sure if the same trick will work twice... *thinking...*

wow you must be freaking out. if the knives are at shot show, they might potentially sell them. see? :)

BH only deals? weirder things have happened, but there's never been a pre-release. logistically that would be a nightmare.
