  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Tweenahs - New Pictures, specs...

Oh man. I've already run this by the Mrs. and told her I need one of each, with custom leather rigs. All she said was, "I married a lunatic". :D That's good news for me. That means I can do whatever I want as long as it doesn't interfere with our budget!

well, start saving now ;)

cut out some junk from your life. simplify your billing? cook more eat out less. eat less junk. quit smoking [1]. quit drinking [2]... be frual. for Becker!

[1] i was astounded what a friend of mine who is a smoker pays for that shit. wow. i could like shoot EXPENSIVE ammo. a lot. still be ahead.

[2] another friend drops so much money on booze, esp in bars, that it puts even [1] to shame.

combine 1&2? wow, that's like buying a couple guns a year, plus 1000s of rounds of ammo. makes Beckers look ... frugal :>

Amen to that brother!

Personally I can't wait to strip and convex one of these bad boys after I've demolished some fire wood!

to eat my own words as it were, for the rest of December at least, i'm not buying any kind of canned "energy drinks" for stocking in the larder. i MIGHT buy one if i'm out and about, and am dying, or driving... safety you know. that should save me some $$ :)

definitely not giving up on coffee either ;>

just figured as a health thing, it's probably one of the few vices i have, that i can afford to shake. we'll see what a month gets me. with my luck, there's something in those drinks that is vital to my health, and i'll soon find out ;) or i could take a multi-vitamin. vitamin-D is probably more useful this time of year.

and now, to practice eating right even more so. meat meat meat and some paleo veggies and snacks.

Perfect size for scout carry, I can see the 16 is going to be my new edc. I know the wife is going to palm the mini magnum about .03 seconds after the box is opened, fortunately I'll have a spare in the truck. Not real sure on 17's shape but I'll pick it up because I know i'll buy it anyway. Those beg for me to make some horizontal sheaths.
My Becker routine: Open box, grab knife, bank shot sheath to trash pile, cut box to ribbons with new knife, accidentally cut self, find more stuff to cut up, get chewed out for making a mess.

I could do without the 16 since I love my 2 and have a bhk bushcrafter for smaller stuff but man that 15 is looking mighty fine right about now

I feel like we're a bunch of construction workers yelling cat calls to pretty ladies

I was just at the store today and I was looking through a couple knife mags, and I saw that there was an article written about the tweeners in there. I took a pic with my phone and I'll try to get it on my computer later.

I'm thinking a drop leg would be cool.

I'm going for the 17. I've already got great plans for it. I wasn't excited about these Tweeners till I actually checked them out, and now I'm anxious and can't wait. Come to me now.

I was at E's this weekend. No new Tweeeners as of Friday. They havent' arrived, so, no pics of the final designs.

Not to worry though, soon enough, we will not only have our pics, but our knives too boot.

Shooting went well though. :D

I'll be in for a 15 and 16, for sure. A 5 and 15 in the kitchen...what more would you need?

Question of the day:

Will the new tweeners, Brute and machax all come out at the same time?
Also are all 5 of these blades made in the U.S.A?

I love that trailing point model, it looks like just the thing for this MOLLE bug out vest thing i'm putting together.

Just in case Santa is a member...Tac-Tool Tweener...would be a great stocking stuffer for Christmas 2012.

i hope i could see it soon available to have it her for Christmas hehe If not i would have to buy another bk... I like the 3 models from the photos.

i really really really don't get the sabre grind on the bowie and the mini companion nor the thickness of 0.188" but this won't stop me from trying the new tweeners ;).

full flat would have been cool but if we can get our 2s to shaving edge then we can get anything sharp
