Good luck with the job....although as far as I know, there's no such thing as "extra" money. It all has some place it's gotta go. 'Course, I don't really remember working when I didn't need to.


Sorry about the cars, Dubz. At least they didn't get picked up and swirled around with the roof of your house and get deposited down the road at where the neighbor's house used to be.

We got a couple more inches of snow last night. Morning commute sucked. But it fell a whole lot more gently than hail.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too, WW. I'm picking up the truck tomorrow to start my move. Then I'll be out in NJ the week after, then back to Texas, and then to Washington/Oregon. I'm hitting all 3 coasts in as many weeks.

-edit- Dang, Bladite. Now I seriously want one of those Hammerli Xesse pistols. That's a really pretty .22LR plinker.

I watched 5 seasons so far of the Canadian show Heartland... Now i know everything there is to know about Canada.

Disappointed that it took until season 4 before i heard a 'Eh?.... But you Canadians have a lot of horses and im cool with that :D

I've been having trouble posting w/ pics for 2 or 3 months. Have to edit, delete the pic and repost it before it shows. Did have an issue last night where I was multi-quoting and wound up typing my post, copying it (quotes and all), cutting everything before the first quote, saving, re-editing, pasting all, cutting everything after first quote, repeat until each section saved individually - real big pain in the posterior.

Erik on the other hand, is an astounding character and a bit of a conundrum... I'm still not fully convinced he's actually a human bean...

I never served in the military, so I never put my mitts on one of those... but I remember reading about them in SOF in the mid/late 80's and going "Dayyummm...."

The engineering and the whole concept behind it sure makes sense on paper. I'd be intrigued to hear from more people who've actually worked with one.
