Are you a Garth fan WW? He is by far one of my favorites, went to his concert in January. Plus he's a fellow Okie :D even went to school in my town

I like some of his songs. Dont listen to him that often though honestly.

I like lots of music in lots of genres by lots of artist. Im a fan of music in general.

:D

those latest hex hawk sheaths are awesome!

They are also a pain in the ass to get back on! There needs to be a step by step guide with it!

Indeed. I have had several people comment about the sheaths being difficult and i apologize for this.

During the first batch JD tried this same sheath idea on them but the tabs kept breaking so we went with the hair tie/ rubberband retention. But some people commented that they wished he kept it to the tab sheaths. This time he used thicker kydex. Which makes the tabs stronger so they dont break... But this time it also turned out more difficult to get them in and out.

I did use one over and over and it did loosen up a bit. And there is a technique that makes it a bit easier. Ill do a youtube video showing how i insert it into the sheath.

Very nice score, C-bear. Did your closet rod just submit to the laws of gravity under the weight of all that fashion?

The problem with being a fat ass, is it takes a LOT of fabric to cover it. Yeah, it was a single rod previously and it actually ripped the screws (3 per side) out of the studs that it was drilled into. So I got a whole new system put into place. Shirts on the left top, jackets on the bottom left, suits on the top right, and pants on the bottom right, with shoes underneath.

i hate those wire shelves... combined with sheet rock, and enough (reasonable) weight, it's a failure system waiting to happen.

imagine waking up at 3am, and not knowing why, maybe you were drunk too...

and you look over the bedroom wall closet, which takes up the WHOLE WALL

crack crack crack

the wall is now coming for you :D

turns out things shifted, the cheap supports gave out, and it all ripped out. was never anchored in studs. bah!

naturally, i did not jump to a fighting stance, in the dark, all ready for combat

well, i did!

my war cry probably also wasn't the best prepared and a bit high pitched ;)

So, I don't think THESE are coming down. 8 screws per stick, 2 sticks per wall. 50# per screw. So it should hold for a while at least!

This video may help...

...May help you make fun of my speech :D

Went for a drive today to see what the ice on the lake was looking like and so Misti could get some pics for a class she is in. I decided that I may as well fish a bit while we were out at the lake anyways. Here is a pic she got of me that turned out well.

Now I'm hungry again.

Life at the firm seems to get in the way of many pleasant things lately... It's been a while since I've been out fossil hunting, for example. At least I've been able to play with some knives today and yesterday. Some smaller trees at my grandma's place needed some delimbing and the 4 did great at that.

On a different note, we've been adding some compartments to our greenhouse. Ideal for lettuce...

Well guys and gals, I have some sad news to report. We had to have the vet put our beloved dog Rocky down last night. He just had too much kidney damage, and he would have only been miserable and scared for days or maybe weeks if we hadn't made the decision. Angie and I are heartbroken but we believe it was the kindest thing to do. He was a sweet, mellow dog and he will be missed very much. RIP Rocky!

I know many of you are friends of dogs and cats too, and many of you have probably been through this yourselves. Thank you for your understanding, kind wishes and support.

James - My condolences to you and Miss Angie. I've been there, done that, and it is never an easy thing to do. Someone wise once told me that the only problem with dogs is that they don't live long enough.
