5 moe, out the doe! ;)

This one was a exact replica of the very first Yuma I ever made.

In on 2 like the cool kids do?

mmm those blades look a little longer on those Yuma's. I like it

Damn, those are beautiful Todd.

Forgot, or fell asleep on your keyboard with your nightcap still in hand?

Yesterday's finds (not including the 11; included solely for Becker content): #78 rabbet/fillister, #64, #51 spokeshaves and a Union 102 block plane.

Pretty psyched about the #78.

hah. thought you had a 78 already? sweet...

saw a couple really beat up 78s recently, missing most of their stuff too. which just made me want one more. so when i saw one in good shape complete except for the long fence for $25 i jumped on it.

course, i saw a MINT one, totally complete, with all the stuff that's usually missing, including spurs, for a "bit more"... well, shit. this is good, because they can be configured different, and having what amounts to two shoulder planes is a rockstar plan. esp as i can't quite afford a stanley #10 or #10 1/2 plane [yet]. nor the nicer shoulder planes. all of these good for tenons and rabbet making and cleanup.

the spokeshaves i'm just totally jealous on. haven't seen any in the wild worth picking up. they're usually rusty and missing parts, esp blades.

I have another #78, but it's missing everything but the spur & the iron. So basically a simple rabbet plane. I didn't look carefully enough before I purchased the spokeshaves & the block; the #51 is missing the thumb screw & the block has had the cap iron repaired. Both still functional, better than functional with some tuning. Along with all my other tools that need tuning. ....

Either my sense of timing is getting better, or you guys are getting slower on the snark.

In on two.

In on 2!
Todd that is some GREAT lookin' craftsmanship! You bring something that looks like that to Blade and I'll be going home with some more T.M.Hunt GREATNESS!!! :D

I'm holding out for page 3 where all the pretty girls hang out -- unless some perv's scare them all off, that is...

Damn, Todd....those are some really nice rocks. You should get a better picture of them without those knives in the way.

you know how he gets that shiny, wet look for the rocks, doncha?
Murph and Sophie........

Bladite -- if you have a c-channel slide, converting to a center mount full extension glide should be pretty easy.
