Ugliest Knife ever?

Yup, that is pretty darn ugly.

ugly, yes, but it would make a fine shadow puppet.

Who the hell will bring this into a bar?

What bouncer will let someone enter with this?

Cybrok any decent third world bar tender carries his own Dork-Ops 911 Interceptor. I believe that these tools are really made for these people. Ok I am sorry I cant type this with a straight face. That knife is not only ugly, its also a piece of junk. I feel bad for the guy who carries one.

I happen to really like Airkat knives. But the rest of the knives in this thread are UGLY!!

This is an ugly knife. IMO

but to someone else it might be a piece of art.[/QUOTE]

I can't believe you have found a pic of this ! I had one of these that someone bought me when I was a kid ! I got it out of the sheath to look at one day and found the damn hoof was crawling with maggots.....man it soon found the garbage can fast after that !!!!:D

This thing is so horrendous! And they want $230 for it! This blows away all those nasty tops blades with sawteeth. I guess they think that 18 year olds out of basic going to Iraq will want one.

if it had a compass, i'd buy it.:jerkit:

I think this Airkat is uglier. I don't get the angular techno tactical thing. Strange how this blade is also a condor like the frost. Actually Kon-dor, is that a Star Wars name?

Airkat

....

Now that's a nasty finger choil! if you had a lock falure, it'd chop your finger off like a cigar cutter:eek: !

I thought I'd never see a socket head cap screw for a pivot screw, or a thumb post, now that's hacking!

hehe...

I'd love to get my forepaws on another Pocket Hobbit! Definitely ugly, but that's not always a bad thing.

I love the pic of the Linder knife with the deer paw. Man, they've been making those forever. I have one my Grandfather carried throughout WWII.

He liked the blade, but hated the handle, so he whittled a new handle out of Oak and put it on there. Also made his own scabbard for it, and marked every place he travelled during the war on the sheath. He's marked every place from Mobile Alabama to Africa on it. It's the last knife I'd ever give up, so I guess it is a work of art to me...:D

Now, about them ugly knives....Am I allowed to nominate my own home brew?

At the time the integration of a Tanto and a Puukko seemed like a swell Idea.....:o

Nope, that is not a Star Wars name to the best of my knowledge. As for the knife, i think it is fairly cool. wouldnt want to use it, but it could make for an interesting decoration.

At least that Dark pOs knife allows for the ultra-comfortable "five-finger grip" for those of us with six fingers. I like the "Splitter-Hilt" for harness-cutting ability too. There's nothing safer for cutting harnesses away from somebody than 8.65" of sharpened steel flailing about. Yes, that knife will end bar fights in third-world countries...by getting the bearer shot.

Airkats are unreal and don't below in this category. I just wish they were more widely available and not so expensive. Eventually I will get one or two no doubt.

Also that test smashing up the Dark Ops makes no sense to me. Only the aluminium handle is disintergrated, not the blade. Ofcourse an infi knife will do that to an aluminium handle, it will also do that to the billet aluminium handle on a microtech. Each to there own though.
