...Michael, was that the Cobra that Phil had at Solvang last year? If so, I fondled the knife, but when I went back for it, it was sold...I think I remember you saying that you got it there...
If so, and if isn't 'dicked up', if Jerry doesn't want it, I'll trade for it, that is, if you want that Vallotton/Harsey A/F folder I listed tonight Jerry...
I got the A/F from Jack a few months ago, and he'll tell you, it is truly mint...in fact, I had to twist his arm to get it...
Speaking of Jack, we had a deal that went well, but I had some remorse a few days later...I wanted the knife I'd received from him AND my knife too...so I asked him to sell it back to me...
His response? "Sorry Sheldon, but I had that knife traded before I got it, I only did the deal so you could get something that YOU wanted...
So, whereas I always thought that a deal was a deal, and when both parties are happy, that's the end of the story...but, there has to be some review time specified and agreed too before the knives are sent off...period.
(See my terms for sale in my posting. I wrote them after reading most of this mess...)
Also, there has to be a 'thinking period' before GB&U feedback is posted too. Each and every one of these crummy feedback postings is really going to knock the fun right of 'trading', and make us all look like a bunch of a-holes...
Most of us are pretty level headed folks, so, this 'quick draw' crap has got to stop..."It ain't right" And keep private, private. Public postings of private emails is 'Wrong, wrong, wrong!'
Sheldon (That's for you Ira...lol)
