Since you've edited the title of the thread from mall ninja to ugly knives... that squid sculpture is gorgeous. Lousy knife to try to use, I'm sure, but incredible work of art. I'd love to have it on display.

Now these is ugly.
Beauty's in the eye of the beholder. I like the mini-cleaver, looks like the 3rd knife down. I'd put a darker stain on the handle, grind some of the belly out, scothbrite the blade to near satin, then (maybe, maybe not, depending on how it turned out) put my own patina on it.
if anybody does like theese knives i am sorry this is just my oppinion no harsh feelings. infact alot of these knives are very handy and there is nothing wrong with them but as i said not the best looking.
I gotta agree -- they don't look sophisticated, have fine lines or symmetrical, proportions, but they're intriguing. Where are they from?
Now you can the thread title to "Knives I think are useful but harsh on the eyes. Just my opinion."

Actually, they're mine. Just my own unsophisticated attempts at knife making.
I totally agree...I think spyderco's are ugly! And I find the spydie hole worthless.
