• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Uh, oh! Not a knife, yet.

For what it's worth, you can get West System at Slegg's. They have one in Langford on Sooke Rd. if that's close and you can get a small single dose set for cheap.

I misunderstood and thought you were using polyurethane glue. The glue would've been a horrible mess but that stuff should be okay. I doubt it'll ever get really hard though.

Hey!! is that a sheath I see? How about a pic of that! :D

Ah, Cory! Welcome! And thank you:) It's quite inspiring for me to see your knives taking shape.

Stuart, that sheath is from the Takeda bowie I got awhile back, which I made a sheath for. Just so happens this knife is gonna fit into it pretty good with some modifications. Saves me from procuring more leather right away too:D
I'll check out Slegg's next time I'm in Langford:thumbup:

HAHA! Back from the dead:D.

Just wanted to show anyone who is interested how the sheath turned out.

In my excitement to finish this knife completely, (by making the sheath) I forgot to attach a belt loop to it:rolleyes:

I'm gonna make a frog type thing, and that will probably end up being a little cooler than a belt loop anyway.

Did you forget the welt too? :D ;)

You could always cut a slot in the top and weave in a belt loop for a dangler style. A lot less work than a frog. :)
