UK Penknife: A Hole in one!

I have a question, would it be possible to do U.S. version of the same design except incorporating the ball bearing lock?

Actually I asked Sal the same question some time ago. There isn't enough room for a ball bearing lock with the present Penknife design.

With the intregal choil safety,is any lock necessary?I think this knife is perfect just the way it is,I just wish someone could confirm that it will be available in the U.S. and Canada.

Carlos,

Yeah, wasn't sure how much Spyderco would have to alter the original design. I know the Calypso Jr. and the Para share a lot of similarities with the Pen Knife, but there are little subtle things about the construction and design that really appeal to me. I appreciate Sal's attention to detail and the constant refining of knife design.

you may just have to come acoss to our soggy little home and take one back with you. Or I guess you could get someone over here to buy one for you

I can confirm that it won't be available in the US or Canda at all, beyond the 200 set aside for the collectors club.

thought you might like to know they will be £56.95 in the UK which works out at $110 ish

Good news is#49 is on its way to Canada. :D
Bad news is Becks Cutlery is sold out. :(
