I traded in my Solitaire for a MicroLight 2, but I sure would like to have a keychain sheath for my Spyderco Ladybug...

Cool toys.
While we are on the subject of keychain accessories, here is what I am looking for:
A small watertight aluminum or even better titanium container large enough to contain a few rolled up banknotes for emergency cash.
Has anyone come across something that would work for this purpose?

the 2 items on the top of the pic are (from left to right): my MINOX EC camera, and its accompaning camera flash

Thanks Paul, that capsule is exactly what I was looking for. I hope they put an o-ring into the lid to make it watertight.

Normark -

Dragonfly keychain sheath sounds like just the thing. Been carrying my Dragonfly on my keys for about a month now, would like to have a setup like you've got for the Micra.

Protodoc,I was in a medical supply house and saw something that might work.It is a metal container for nitro pills. It is on the small side though. It screws togather and attaches to a key ring for carry,'bout 1/2 the size of a match safe.Nitro pills are very small so the case is small, might be able to stash a couple bills inside.

Eric,
Really, REALLY nice job! You are on to something here, (making key chain sheaths). I have to commend you in that your work just gets better and better. I have noticed a DROP OFF of quality and especially turn-around times from other Concealex makers from these great forums but you keep refining yours and deliver in a modest time frame.

Lone Hunter: Thanks for the sugestion but those nitro pill containers are just to small. It is surprising how much space a roled up dollar bill requires

I have a Swiss-Tech plier thing with a utilikey and a kubaton. I would really like a ladybug or dragonfly or cricket set up.
See you all later,
Matt

Eric, so cool, my wife thinks my keychain "kits" are over the top now.. can you do it in O.D.?
The full kit is usually a kubaton w/ micra, sapphire asp, sunntoo compass and thermometer/windchill chart (just to make misery more precise),and a walnut sized fetish head from Ghana that brings good luck, and velocity, oh and some keys too sometimes. Have solitares stashed everywhere, like the AAA's batteries for packing around, also have a mini radio that uses AAA's so I can be amused and illmuninated while dead lost.,

Eric:

Any chance you'll do one for the Swiss Army Classic? (To be held tweezers & toothpick end covered, of course!) I'd buy a set that had a Solitaire holder, a Micra holder, and a Classic holder!

Hell, I'd buy 'em individually!

I go with Ron Anderson at SOG. I carry a SOG CrossCut on my keyring because the scissors are so convenient, b8ut I also carry a CrossGrip in my beltpack, which is always with me, either on my belt or in my backpack. I also carry a SwissKey on my keyring.

protodoc...

being somewhat of a gadgeteer, I'm always interested in things like this... The best thinh I've found (and lost) is this "pill fob"

http://www.jfainc.com/pillfob.html

it is completely indestructable and very high quality. All Stainless with an o ring. If you look around (www.google.com) with the search "Pill Fob" you will find that whoever this manufacturer is, they make two sixes... the other is longer, but the cylinder has a smaller diameter... groovy?

Eric...I'm in for a maglite & micra sheath! Email me with a price.

Thanks, Mike

It's not the pace of life that concerns me, It's the sudden stop at the end.

I just carry a Sebertool M4--small pliers, wire cutter, knife, very-small and medium flat screw driver, small phillips, small tweezer, nail file, and cap-lifter. All the blades can be opened individually without unfolding the pliers or removing the tool from my keyring. The outline of it is about 1.2" x 2" x .25"thick.

I carry the thinner but longer version on my keychain! It fits regular size (but not x-strength) tylenol, plus a whole bunch of those outrageously strong Starbucks after-coffee mints. That pill fob and my turquoise photon are what I keep on my keychain, besides my keys.

Hey Guys..

Thanks much...

I've had quite a few people interested in these rigs for the keychains...

I've put an inquiry in with one of my dealers on a Dragon Fly and Lady Bug,so hopefully I'll hear from him soon..

I have one problem to work out with the Micra..Once I get this solved,,I'll be ready to go...

Thanks for all of your requests...

Very cool stuff ya'll. I like the fob carrier I got from Ryan. Thanks! I hope Normark goes into production with the Micra kydex. I wonder if anyone makes an LED replacement for the MiniMag and Solitaire?
