Ultra-light Camping...With a Junglas

You sure that's dog poop? :D

Beautiful country. I spent lot of time in the George Wash Nat Forest. Not to far from you

Yeah definitely not dog crap lol Speaking of though, I used to have a Bull Mastiff that took dumps that big. Is this going to turn into the dookey thread?

& yes it is beautiful. In it's own way of course. I live in upstate Washington now and it's by far some of the best views in the country.. Along with Colorado.

Funny. I use this way to record dates in reports, such as 8 November 2016.

Same here. It's because the military on my behalf. Also use a 24hr clock too.

It especially makes people do a double take when they see it as 31/9/2016 or something in that format.

LOL SOMEone's certainly salty. Stab, loving those pics brother, and always good to see someone actually enjoying their knives!

Yup.

Nice pics and thread as usual stabby. Too bad it got crapped in :D

Actually forgot to mention in my last post that the last time I went camping I took my Emerson Commander and actually used it to dig a hole in the soft mossy soil to "doodie" in.

It worked quite well. I should go write a review about it and make sure and mention that part.

The full-sized Commander should work pretty well.

Doing what I can. :D

Looks like fun thanks for sharing love seeing that ZT put to some good use

I think it might be edging its way to being my favourite folding knife. :)
It worked really well.
I was able to use it for hours on end without hand fatigue or blisters, and it has great control of the blade as well.

I'm loving it

That promotion should mean a truly epic trip when you have the time.

Think of it as thread fertilizer. ;)

Yeah, dog shit is what we all want to see on the trail.
Please come to Switzerland and clean up all the cow and horse $h!t we have on the trails...you'll need to bring a roll of garbage bags and som XXL cargo pants...

Less poo, more knives.

Come on people, this is Bladeforums, not whatever freaky sicko site lovers of feces congregate at.

Awfully rude of that horse to poop on pinnah's sleeping platform.

Sorry, stab, here's a knife pic to make up for my previous post. :D

A capable combo atop leaves from a variety of maple species.

I'm guessing there arent many rocks in those woods???

No, there aren't.

I did find some cinderblocks and busted pots the first time I went out there though. :)

Just a couple hundred yards form where I made my site.

On future trips, we carried more bricks and cinderblocks in...those were the opposite of ultra-light.

At some point I want to replace the bricks and cinderblocks with rocks.
It will look more scenic.
