And since last Thursday, Nintendo reports that Pokemon (short for "pocket monster") Go has brought in $7.5M in revenue in the US alone.

I was in Houston from last Tuesday until late this afternoon.

Friday night, some idiot walking around wearing all black clothes in my nephew's apartment complex almost served duty as a speed bump for yours truly. When I blew the horn at him, he came unglued and started screaming "You made me loose it." I had no clue what he was going on about and was trying to decide if I was going to need the W49, the 1217, or the 1911 to put the deranged idiot out of my misery.

hey, forum rule, really! no pokemon!

Q: Can I talk about pokemon?

A: Frakk no. Knock it off. Now

hahahhahahah

in better news, one of the fun things about supporting Knife Rights, and of course, getting your wee little prize and sticker and whatnot ...

is that you get tickets for drawings for prizes :D

damn. i've won three times, on the early bird. not bad prizes, pretty fun really.

better than the game that cannot be talked about ;)

Ethan hates that crap :D
Lol. Someone just needs to post some Pokémon AND Becker content. I would but there's nothing near me right now.

Edit : found one

Just FYI - I started a Pokémon and Beckers thread. Post 'em if you've got 'em.

Bladite promised he'd wait until the weekend and just ban us all together at once. ;)

I guess I'm "old" I don't get the allure of "the game that shall not be named." I guess maybe because I was too old to watch the show growing up and so it never really did anything for me. But I dunno. It seems... trite.

hey kids, no pokemon talk, okay?

I imagine that a 30-06 ought to do the trick. Screw catching them.
We had horned lizards, paper routes, lawn darts, archery on school grounds, bb & pellet guns, lawn-mowing jobs, fruit & vegetable picking jobs, animal sitting jobs, strawberry patch watering jobs, endless summer pool days, pinball, broken bones, busted lips, black eyes, scouting, baseball, football, track, basketball, frisbee, go-karts, and a few watermelon eating contests, but never any, ...whatsitz?

ZZ go with the 1911 lol

Can't play it here in Canada :) its not supported yet. Some people are downloading US then playing here. I don't care that much.

I really don't think that people should put an age limits on playing games and having fun. Plus, if it gets people outside, heck yes! I work at a university and there are so many students walking around getting vitamin D playing :)

People can do whatever they want. And I can find it odd if I want. ;) :P

Meh. I'm over 30 and waste a lot of time playing Fallout 4 and GTA V. Whatever. At least with Pokemon Go people are going outside and accidentally solving crimes and stuff.

Hahaha

+1

Gaming is no less of a hobby than hiking or camping or say... knife collecting (;)) no matter the age of who's playing. It's best to do all four though. :D

My very introverted older sister just posted that she walked 15 kilometers in the last 2 days thanks to that game. I may not be participating but it's good to hear that some folks have a reason to get outside and exercise.

That seems to be what everyone is saying. You can't argue with that.

So I ordered an AK pistol on June 23rd, later that day I get an email telling me my gun is going to ship without mags because of Colorado's 15 round limit. A week later the gun hasn't shipped so I send an email asking about it and they tell me they were waiting to hear back from me if they could ship the mags or not. Keep in mind, they didn't ask if they could, they told me they wouldn't. So I tell them my dealer will accept the mags and they say OK. I finally get billed for the thing on July 5th but by the 11th I still haven't been emailed a shipping confirmation or tracking number so I email them again. Turns out it shipped on the 5th, arrived on the 7th and they never bothered to let me know and my FFL wasn't expecting it. Hopefully the shop hung onto it since they don't know who ordered it.

I had to play phone tag tracking my GP through my LGS. The seller was on the ball, as reliable as clockwork. The receiver, however, was clear as mud.

I finally got it after an extra month and a half.
