Spacex... I sometimes find myself annoyed by them. We live about 20 miles as the crow flies from their McGregor (TX) Rocket Development Facility. When they test fire a rocket, I can almost always hear it and often can feel the ground vibrate from the force. My wife sometimes notices...the dogs, always. Usually at reasonable times of of the day, but every once in a while 10 pm when us old people are in bed trying to sleep. Seems like they do a lot more "test" fires during SXSW the last couple years...must be showing off for an audience. All in the name of progress, I suppose.
