Not related but.... My brother's wife bought him a customized yeti cup and i wanted one too... So i asked the wife who was like Hell no I'm not buying a 60 dollar cup for you... Then i said well my brother's wife must love him more because she bought him one... That actually worked haha. She bought me a custom cup.. But its a thermite not yeti... He has thermite cups but if you want yeti you have to send him the cup then he'll do the work. More expensive in the end... And i didn't want to wait for that. The guy just finished it Today and is shipping it out Monday.
 
Got my first speeding ticket today. Was driving through this podunk town where the speed limit drops from 65 to 35 in about 30 yards.

Welcome to the wonderful world of driving.....most speed limit changes are like that, otherwise the podunk police would have no revenue. I look at it kinda like a driving tax.....I mean, seriously - how many times have I been speeding and NOT been caught? The cost of ONE ticket pretty much comes out as a wash, IMO - tho it's always hard to swallow.

i was doing the speed limit -1 and pointing out to my lady friend "and there's always some townie dipshit right there..."

blue light

pulls me over

says i'm doing over 20 the limit

i tell him that i told my lady friend "there's always a cop RIGHT THERE, remember i was pointing at you, and you pulled me over? yeah, i was one mile under the limit, and what's the real reason you pulled me over?" -- "get out of here"

lady friend was amused...

me? i'm horrified.

the police can and will pull you over, and do whatever they want, under color of law, and hide behind the blue line, and lie lie lie.

be careful out their my brohime..
 
We've got a place a few miles up the road that's mostly famous for being a speed trap for college students. Been that way for years. Back in the day, I was riding with a guy who was accelerating towards the increased speed limit sign. The police officer informed us that the higher speeds didn't begin until the sign. I'm guessing the lesson cost under one bill. But that was almost thirty years ago. Probably two or three times that now.
 
Just uninstalled the Facebook app from my phone. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm guessing no more than 36 hours. You people need to step up your game and help free me from that nonsense.

I don't use the app, just go to the mobil site on my phone. But they forced me to install their crap messenger app in order to check my FB messages.

Just check "request desktop site" and you can jump into your mailbox to read and send messages without the app. :thumbup:

Carothers Light Chopper, they have a subforum here and I managed to snag one a few weeks ago so this was its inaugural hike. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but it's probably going to be stealing some time from the BK20 while I see what it can do. No chance of replacement, though.

The only reason a Becker didn't show up in the photo album was due to me not actually needing any knives with me and thus only bringing those that I felt needed some more pictures, the Beckers had no work to be done and thus it would've felt wrong to wave them around without using them at all.

Wow, no kidding. Wish my area looked like that. All flat here, with corn and beans for days. Beautiful area man, thanks for sharing the album, really enjoyed that.
 
I just went to knivesshipfree and saw a very interesting product on the home page. It seems our favorite jessica loving beckerhead is getting into business with mike stewart.

Just makes me laugh. I hope he has good lawyers.
