I don't have any custom work on any of my knives, but I had to have an all black Skyline for my Black Collection. So the hunt began for the two needed for the swap. I didn't get any good before pics but the one. I am very pleased with the results. My very own Frankinskyline! ... BTW, the Plain blade/ brown handle Skyline is the only Kershaw I have that doesn't fit in my Black Collection.

Tom Krein does the regrinds off and on. Someone had told me he was doing them again so I contacted him and I was in luck. A few weeks later someone I know tried to contact him and Tom said that he wasn't taking on anymore regrinds because he was inundated with work requests. If you can get on his list when it is open it is so worth it. The man does a sick regrind. The 0551 and the 0561 are friggin laser blades now.

He is no longer doing them again. Apparently his plan is to do them in batches. As well as his current models. I was fortunate enough to get a custom ordered Ultimate Caper before he stopped custom orders as well. At any rate, Tom's work is incredible. Here are some of mine.

Polished Small Junkyard Dog, with scotchbrite finish on the clip.

Leek, polished blade, scotch brite finished scales.

Awhile back, Brad Southard had his hands all over this Ti/SG2 JYDII. He added IKBS to the pivot, acid washed the Ti scales, added a Carbon Fiber backspacer, added a Carbon Fiber front scale, and gave the blade a hand satin finish. Before all that work was done I had sent the knife to STR for a lowrider clip to be added in the tip up position. I love it.

This one has still not been topped imo.

I'm working on a Chill mod. I put in a deep-carry pocket clip already,and plan on tiger striping the blade (it should look similar to the ZT tiger stripes) by duracoating it then sanding it off in the desired pattern. Then I plan on duracoating the screws a forest/ranger/OD green. The clip will also be black
